Oh I do like a fiddle

It may sound weird but i'm not sure i'd like to own a mint car like that, i'd cry every time it got the slightest mark or when a stone hit it. I'd just be too paranoid to drive it.

Oh I do like a fiddle

Very very nice every time you post photos, how often do you drive it? It's absolutely mint so I guess it's only on special occasions, are you keeping it as a collectors item, as in a mint low miler?

    Is my fooked lol ?

I certainly sounds like your is fooked. ;) How far does £20quids worth of fuel get you in terms of miles?

    The PH1 172 Appreciation Thread.

5 door F4Rs make the baby Jesus cry. ;) Seriously though mate if a 5 door Clio is all you've got in Brazil, then you don't really have much choice, it'll be a sleeper that's for sure and it'll take people by surprise when you disappear on them. lol  If you only have 1.6 5 doors, where...

    Coolant issues

I warm it up on the drive, check it over, then take it for a good blast, park on the drive again and wait and see if it's leaking. Just getting it up to temp on the drive isn't going to stress the parts as much as a good 30min boot full.

    Coolant issues

All you can do is top the coolant up and see if it goes down over the next week or so. The fact that it's pissing it down constantly doesn't help, could really do with a few dry days to see if any fresh puddles appear.

    Coolant issues

If you've replaced the hose then you must have a split in the rad somewhere, not that i'm a mechanic but if it's still leaking from the same spot it must be the rad leaking. How much coolant are you getting through atm, has it increased?

    Coolant issues

Well all I can tell you is my recent experiences with my radiator. It suddenly started leaking one day from the left of the rad (drivers side), I had a look and could see it was coming from the bottom, and that the front was also pretty much smashed in with holes from where stones had hit it...

Where are the puddles in relation to the car, under the rad?

Gasket, it has a very slight leak but it's from a couple of places, may aswell do it properly. Flol at your Mrs not letting you boot your car, in her mind it's already hers mate, so you can't win.

I went to the Bulldog bash in the 90s there, all my mates had a go at 1/4 mile times, i've never had a bike so just sat in the stands pissed out of my mind. :approve: That was the year Eddie Kidd spackered himself, we f*cked off when his show started so missed it. lol Just read their site...

You'll be alright, remove the back seats, spare wheel, drive naked and that a sh*t before you race for maximum weight saving. :approve: I'll be removing it all before I race, i'll save myself a couple of kilos I think.

There's nothing else I can do to my car power wise that won't cost me a kidney, I think the next time i'll run the standard airbox with a paper filter just to get a comparison against my V6 box. Although I think the next thing we should all do is Santa Pod so we can live our lives a 1/4mile at...

    Hankook V12 vs Uniroyal RS2

Same here, I drive from Cov to Stratford Upon Avon four times a week, the A46 turns into a lake when it rains hard, the standing water has to seen to be believed, I think i'd have had an accident by now if it wasn't for Rainsports.

    Hankook V12 vs Uniroyal RS2

I've got rainsports and they're amazing, wet grip is unreal and they refuse to let the car aquaplane, dry grip is really good aswell and the grip is progessive, so when pushing it round a corner the understeer will slowly build up, so you know when you're reaching the limit and not suddenly let...
