Possible Brake Upgrades

  Clio RT
Been driving round in a mk1 1.4RT and all is good except for when you pick up speed the brakes are scarily inefficent lol

It belongs to my mrs but i will prob inherit it soon as she wants the newer 2.0L and my normal car is off road long term.

There are a few bits that need doing. Its already down 40mm with 15's, the bodywork is sorted thanks to a spoiler and smoothed boot plus smoothed bumpers and bonnet so the last thing i want to do is stuff it into someone or something.

Whats the easiest brake upgrade? id imagine R19 or similar but i dont know renaults! what differences are there between current and something like the valver?

how much better are they than the original set-up?
There desinged to cope with the Williams so 150hp.

They will make a difference how much depends if your going to replace the pads and disk bleed the fluid for good stuff plus how good your present setup is and the new setup is.

current has recent discs and pads althougg not sure on age of fluid. Also looking to get braided hoses, anything that gives me some confidence to anchor up lol

Stock brakes are more than enough with some decinet pads even on track you should be fine with stock pads. Aftermarket good hard pads and you should never have fade.
