Just bought a pair of front willy struts from Renault a couple of weeks ago and i had to wait 8 days because they had to come from France
they cost 46 quid each which includes Vat
Got a serious knocking coming from the front of my williams, just replaced the front shockers and top mounts but the serious knocking noise is still there, so thinking it might be the lower balljoints
could i be right?
how easy are they to change and is it nessecary to disconnect the anti...
This is for one rear disc with a bearing already fitted, if your rear disc look like they could do with replacing then this is the best option
Rear discs are a piece of piss to fit and so is the bearing
I totally agree with this, i seriously cant think of any standard FWD car that can do sub 6 seconds to 60. Unless what has been just said about using a combination of a good LSD and slicks i cant see how any front wheel drive car can get enough traction

Thinking pretty much the same as you mate about maybe getting a viper or bmc this year and see if i can shave a few more 10/ths of my quarter mile time at York

Hmmmmm, well its definately not the battery as ive just changed that so maybe it could be the alternator, but if it was the alternator wouldnt the battery warning light come on?
basically i have a problem with the williams at the moment, its seems to have started to idle incredibly low about 700rpm and sometimes when i come to a junction the engine stops :confused: also when i slow right down for sharp corners the headlights dim!!!
God knows why it has started doing...
Think your right it could quite possibly be the toyos playing a big part, i had them on my gt turbo (although cant remember the model) and wasnt very impressed, they reminded me of yoko A539s which were fannytastic in the dry heat through the summer but utterly sh*te at this time of year when...
