Remember the only car as old as the 205 on NCAP is the Metro and that gets 1/2 a star.
To be fair the Mi16 isnt really a real car that left a production line. Its like comparing a Turbo Clio 16v to a Williams.
To live with everyday Id say the 182. Plus Im sure a 182 is lighter on the pocket...
Id say a 182 but they do seem to have lots and lots of problems. Not sure why?
I have a Cup but Id say the average joe wouldnt be able to tell the difference between that and a mk2 172. The Cup is a little nervious in the wet (which lets face it happens a lot this time of year).
The 182...
Someone posted some pictures of their car a while ago I think.
Didnt like the green colour with the grey plastic headlight surounds on the 182.
Would look better with the darker plastic of the 172.
Try to find some to get them trade.
Someone I know got Goodyear eagle F1 (GSD3) for £50 each off his dad for his Cup. £200 for the whole car fitted aint bad is it? Surely somewhere like kwikfit would charge £100+ per corner.
Not all the time.
Havent you ever been on the motorway and wondered how people get certain cars to go so fast?
Like seeing a mk1 fiesta 1.1 in the fast lane doing 100
Toms normally got quite a lot to say about this topic.
Id never buy the VXR new Dave - like any Vauxhall the deprecation will be massive!! My friend just sold his 2000 V6 Vectra for £5k that cost the first owner 25k new!
Few months back a couple of lads in a 1.4 16v had a go at me - from the looks of their face they knew the Cup was gonna destroy them - which it did. They didnt even keep up till 20 let alone 50.
