This is much more believable - bit worrying that the speedo goes to 120+ though!
Any one see watchdog the other night? Pug 307s do more miles on the milometer than in real life. One guy reckoned he was doing 125 miles for every 100 he was actually driving.
What a way to de-value a car so pug...
I cant see how a 1.2 would have the power to get through the force exerted on it at 120mph as well. I fully believe they could see a genuine 115mph.
I really dont believe they could see much above that.
A friend of mine has a dymanique and its pretty quick at lower speeds if you get me...
I hate to say it but if a 1.2 16v can do 125mph and is only group 5 (I think) then why would people bother with bigger engined higher insurance group cars?
Mine does just shy of 130mph and thats book speed.
Im sure the 1.2 16v is only rated as doing about 110mph (according to Renault)
My...
Yeah, not bad at all, I had a dent on the bonnet from pranging some one so went to get a quote on that and though fcuk it Ill have some more done!
Was a little place in Upminster. Just two blokes there, one a mechanic and the other a bodywork spcecialist. Think their names are Robbie and...
Are they REALLY worth it over just shocks and springs?
Whats the point in having adjustable shocks if you can only do the front?
Surely that defeats the object that if you wanna go lower or higher you have to adjust the torsion bar each time?
Id be worried about any car thats done that many miles in such a short period of time. Nothing wrong with high milers if its all relative to the age of the car. Mines done 104k miles in 12 years (average of about 8.6k a year)
I personally couldnt do 94k in 20 years and thats no joke!!
No one can knock a Williams, still probably the best handling hatch around.
Every one, even people that dont know alot about cars will always know the "Blue car with gold wheels"
Never had the pleasure of driving one, but if its better than my 16v (I have no doubt about that) then it must be...
Wouldnt drive it again it I was you!
I still got the burnt out engine in my garage 2 years after it went, mean to take it appart to find out what went wrong but the effort is just too much!
I had 110mph outta mine but the engine went pop the day after, was told that when a car goes faster than usual its a sign somethings ready to go.
Before that it used to just get past 100mph sometimes 105mph.
It was pretty quick up to about 30-40mph but then other things would leave it so...
BBPT charge £185 + VAT for PBV including RR set up etc.
Would think if you add a CHIP and PBV to your current mods your breathing and fueling will be pretty useful and you should get good gains.
PBV are best used when you need more fuel than the standard set up provides. Usually when you...
As a rough guide look in the for sale section for the valver for sale marked as the best 16v or something like that.
Black with well smart black rims on - that one looks really smart.
Ah, fair enough, I take your point there. Mine looked a little 4x4ish before I lowered it. My old car was a Mk1 1.4 RT and that was low - still only a 35mm drop. But it only had 15s on it.
On a score so far have done approx 150 miles and it;s not looking like going much further.
The light hasnt gone out for a while!!
For any one that doesnt know, the reserve tank is about 7 litres so can get over a fivers petrol in there.
I know this as by the end of the month I live in the...
Got mine done at BB Tuning, they lowered it 1 click then asked me what I thought. I asked them to try another one to see how it looked.
They then did it another click but it was REALLY low and I didnt want that as the wheels probably wouldnt turn!
Shame there was no in between, 17s make it...
If I ever cought the person who took my amp and sub 2 years ago I will cut all their fingers off and perhaps their balls to.
And the other person who tried to take the whole car but only succeeded in fcuking up my lock up, beding my door and making me call the AA as they blew out some fuses...
I feel like a fool, for years I have knocked people for saying their valvers are Williams blue.
I thought why would it be Williams blue if its not a Williams, but hey guess I was the one in the wrong all along.
Technically speaking the valvers arent Willy blue though, the Willys are valver...
Got the clips to attatch my phase 2 bump strips (colour coded ones)
Also got to fit door hadles, phase 2 rear lights and boot strip as well.
Need to get a grill next month and nearly got the phase 2 look!
Whats the difference between the phase 1 and 2 instruments?
I know the phase 2 has...
