I have seen a few Clio 16vs with R19 skirts on lately, theres one in the for sale section. Any one know how these are fitted to a Clio? Surely they will need cutting down, and what about the rear arch bulging out slightly?

Its a common fault I think, they used to come back of with a little percussive engineering, but gradually stopped working all together. My old RT used to go dim on one side of the speedo then come back then go dim again!

Right, bulb has gone, have no light what so ever on the speedo and the petrol guage. (basically the left hand side of the instrument panel is in darkness!) Is it one bulb I need to replace or are there a few?

Think on the R19s it changes the display from temp to fuel consumption, not sure if it does anything on clios though?

Bens heads are very good from what I can tell. Very high spec. Couple that with some cams then get some one to chip it and you should get alot in return and youd have saved yourself alot on labour by doing it yourself.

Have you checked the condition of the head itself as it may need re-surfacing? If you got it all open it would seem the perfect oportunity to do some proper mods like cams and uprated head.

Will the plug cover be big enough to take uprated leads in to account? I broke the clip trying to fit my standard one over my blue k-teck leads.

Try getting a valver!! Think they should have oil stations as well as petrol stations cause it seems to me that I put as much oil in as I do petrol!! Before any one says it, no its not leaking and no its not burning! Lukcy I got the oil level in the car or else it would have blown up ages...
