    Boot battery relocation cable

The wiring/component would set on fire before that popped tbh mate. I'd go with a 200/250A mega fuse personally. That's what I use in mine and never had an issue.

Rear roll center change when lowering

The front roll centres are the ones to focus on tbh as that's where the biggest gains in handling improvements come from. The extender pins like the vw/Audi boys use aren't especially good when combined with Clio hubs. They elongate the bottom hole on standard ball joints, so you just increase...

    Ride height - Tarmac car

I'd imagine they will be very close to the legs mate, and if the springs are reasonably soft on the B14's it will deffo catch under hard cornering.

Rear roll center change when lowering

It's more toe and camber changes that are the result of lowering the rear.

    Ride height - Tarmac car

Looks well that! Do the driveshafts hit the chassis leg on track? Ok mate, no problem.

    Ride height - Tarmac car

In a perfect world the wishbones need to be sloping down from the subframe to where they locate in the bottom of the hub, as in centreline of the securing bolt to the centreline of the bottom ball joint pivot. You can run them parallel with the ground though. Is your car as low as it is in your...

You'd just have to buy another adapter plate from gripper mate. Easy.

    Wheel alignment - string method

Well you will leave yourself open for the smart arse comments! Flol! Tbh, the resetting of them doesn't bother me anyway. I've done it that many times I know how much to move the track rods to get very close to the desired setting. I also have a string setup that hangs off the car. That's the...

    Wheel alignment - string method

Yes mate optical ones. They work very well on all the lowered cars I've done with mine mate. Never had an issue transporting them either! Lets not forget they have the conversion table on them as well - ideal if your s**t at maths! Flol!

Anyone ever made a front splitter?

And this is the very reason why I'll never bother with it!
  14. NorthloopCup

Anyone ever made a front splitter?

Doubtful as you need to test it on the same day, same track, same conditions, same consistency of driving style, etc etc.

Anyone ever made a front splitter?

    Addressed! ;)

Anyone ever made a front splitter?

Lol you took your time!! Dan changed his before mine!
  17. NorthloopCup

Anyone ever made a front splitter?

There will be improvements from having something like this fitted as it reduces the amount of air flowing under the car generating lift. For it to be really effective though, it needs to fit as close as possible to the wheels (obviously allowing cut outs for full lock) and ideally be coupled to...

    Wheel width, speak to me.

    No none at all mate.

    Wheel width, speak to me.

In all honesty mate I don't know the answer to your question. A 195 on a 7J rim is fine, but a 215 may be classed as optimum for that width of wheel. There's a chart on the net somewhere. I'll see if I can find it again.
  26. NorthloopCup

    Wheel width, speak to me.

Perfect tyre width for a 6.5J rim width is a 205 FYI. I run 205/50 15's on my 15" turinis very successfully.
  27. NorthloopCup

    15" Speedline Turinis spacers ???

15" ET35 turinis on a 172 cup need no spacers at all. I run them on mine with r888's and they rub the outer edge of the arches at the rear!!

    Clio 172 Track WIP

Ah right sounds like it would've been a no brainer then to not swap. A mate of mines got a csl. I take it the tiptronics not working properly then? Yeah no problem mate. It might even have suspension on it by then too! Lol
