you could try playin about with it (the rear one)
it normally bolts to the strut top on the back (the one i seen did anyway)
i think if it was welded to the turret high up, then a triangular affair with a peice of box (or tube) coming from each end and meeting in the center rear of the boot...
i've kept the standard wheels, but i've fitted driled discs, pagid pads and goodrich brake hoses
-instant pedal, no fade whatsoever and no noise!
-i know drilled rotors can crack with age, but i've never had a problem

hmmm. there are people on here that know more 'bout this engine than me, but i can't really see a major problem with the standard body, unless you wanna go sick for power, then you might as well purchase some jenvy bodies or similar.
de cat, induction, get the inlet manifold modded then map it...
