    i seem to remember an engine mount bolt and the aux belt tensioner bracket bolt's to it too

    sounds silly, but check the red button in the engine bay o/s is depressed, its the fuel cut solenoid (in case you turn it over, it popps out) i knocked it once and had to press it to re-set it

    you need to look at the inlet manifold for starters, before anything else. its the main fall down of that engine. pm ben r. he'll mod it, basically it needs matching for a noticeable improvement, you can also go to town on it for an impressive result.!

    i'll probably be corrected LOL, but i think if you're going for a 'money no object' system you want a 182 manifold, 182 sports cat and a custom build from there back. lot of hours tho, subframe down. hangers to fabricate ect and thats just to do the manifold & cat.

    me too, and i don't like that one! -well i must admit its not so much built, but repaired! i agree with fred on the welds, i don't like 'em. mig looks crap on an exhaust anyway, especially an aftermarket one

    pagid fast pads & good discs (mine are drilled) on the front should do it, with goodrich hoses all round . change your brake fluid every 30k or so .thats what i've got/do nice bite and a firm pedal, no fade even on the track 8 laps or so.

    thats a fast set up, probs wouldn't work well on the road, operating temperatures ect.

    yep, but i would'nt ask it, the ministry is very promenant in my area. and considering the number of vehicles i test each week (car & commecial) i would'nt want to ruin my special relationship with my favorite testers. criptic answer i know, but i think you get the idea

    i take trucks & busses apart (and put them back together sometimes :clown: ) for a living. don't like lifting spanners in my spare time -it gets in the way of my drinking !

    cool i'll phone tomorrow reno want silly money, gsf only do the belt and the only factor's i regularly deal with don't even do the belt (in their defense they are commercial orientated)

    then change it back for MOT, i thought 'bout it, even got the 182 item, but i really can't be bothered doing all the work twice a year (in and out). drop subframe ect. got better things to do. i suppose with further thought you could run 182 manifold, 182 cat and custom build from there back...
