Maybe my local needs to be stripped of its franchise then. They must do something right as they wouldn't having grown to the size they have. My local must be a particularly cr@p one.
Nothing Jackass about it son. The comment wasn't directed at you and wasn't a personal slight and I would never wish redundancy upon anyone.
However, 95% of comments/posts made about Halfrauds (it's all in the name) are on a negative slant.
My local Halfrauds/Ripspeed employs the most...

The Dynamique grille must aid air flow.
That's no 172, it's a 1.2. I know of it and it's a wreck. It's a friends bosses daughters and she drives it like a loon. She tried racing me once as she saw the 1.2 badges. I just let her drive on in a flurry of noise.

My centre mount was a new Renault item but it still had too much slack in it. It now has a large jubilee clip formed to follow the shape of the mount cable tied around it. I can loosen or tighten the jubilee clip to the exact position I want setting the height accordingly. Job done.
Mine has always done this. Never noticed it on standard but it is noticeable on the Eibachs and was on the Apex too.
I don't think it's anything that can be easily sorted though.
It sure is. Any motor factors should sell a range of mounts. Just find one that looks about the right size. It's much stronger than the standard mount, trust me.
Do not buy a new one, the same will happen in no time.
Buy an oval type mount for around 50p, cut the old one out of the square mount, slot in the new oval and cable tine in place. Job done.
