I'm in the process of doing my 172 wheels at the mo' and will move onto my Turinis when done.
The 172 wheels are more of a 'smart' repair as in i'm masking off the rims and the veins on one wheel and painting those sections only.
No need to remove all paint. Hit the bad areas with a sander...
I have now found out that the colour should be on the inside of the centre cap. There is a 237 inside an elongated diamond, will this be the colour code?
Where can the paint be purchased from using this code?
I'm doing a bit of refurb work on my standard wheels but I don't want to paint the whole of each wheel. Does anyone know a good match for the standard colour so I can blend?
Cheers,
Ben
They're crap. Mine has packed up 3 times as has my brothers. My mates locks up at will. As you press the buttons to try and un-freeze it, it will all of a sudden kick into life and go through all the button presses previously entered.
Pete was with Paul from RS Tuning when I had my 172 done. It was Paul's very first Clio map so I think they both wanted to see how it performed.
I'm quite sure they have a slight affiliation.
Feather or tap the throttle on over run, that will make it pop and burble.
The pop is only caused by unburnt fuel exploding in the exhaust system so it's not really a good thing.
