it did get worse to the point of no water could be put in. cant remember how much to get fixed. ( i had soo many problems over christmas i couldnt keep track! ) but it was about £3 for a core plug from renault.
ya manifold does have to be removed to be fixed though.

1, the way id see it is your car is set to run at the angle its at when it was built so surley thats its best angle so keep the drop exactly the same front and rear. 35mm is good 50-60 mm will go but heard it causes strain on drive and bits, plus youd have to do shocks and springs.
