I run the oe power rack on mine with epas. All I did was drain the fluid out of the rack and blanked off the main pressure feed and return. Obviously there is still some residual oil left in the system but this will just help to lubricate the rack.
For reference though, with the fluid removed...
Just found this video on the Drive channel. It's not going to be to everyone's taste as its filmed using a helmet cam, but the driving skill is excellent!

The fronts are 320lb so not that soft mate, but as said earlier they're designed as a road kit.
Strange about the understeery feel without the arb as mine doesn't feel like that at all.
Gone slightly stiffer than standard on the fronts, but its significantly stiffer on the rears. I had the original kw springs tested and they're very soft. You run a white line rear arb as well don't you? Whereas I don't and never will.
You can get away with putting stiffer front springs on without the need to revalve them, but the rears need to be revalved. That's why I had mine done as I felt they were to soft. Ideal for road but not so much for the track. But they are designed as that - a road setup.
I like mine how it is...
Having watched your videos again I'd comfortably say your noise is that bracket in the front arches. They don't mark the tyres either when they catch. Mine made the exact same noise.
How stiff did you have the fronts and rears set to as well out of interest?
At one point mine was that low the...
Yes I'd agree with that Tony 100%. But there's nothing better than belting around on track doing some drifting looking like a legend/weapon (delete as applicable!) and generally enjoying yourself. That's what I enjoy the most out of trackdays. :)
Yeah that's tf then mate or touristenfahrten as its officially know! Yeah the wrap around seats and q/r steering wheel bosses are banned on tf this year apparently. Be interested to see how you go on and if they give you any drama at the gate!
I do indeed use them on my 16's Nick! I've now got a dedicated set of 15's on 888's.
My own personal experience of the s1 evo's is they're a very good tyre even though they are a budget, middle of the range tyre. If you push hard on them on track they overheat and s**t theirselves, but nowhere...
Are you going on a track day at the ring Rhys, or are you doing tf days?? If its tf days I'll be VERY interested to see if they let you out tbh. The x door bars are a no no for this year but yet to hear 100% off someone if they weren't allowed out on track.
The noise you thought/think is/was the bumper catching is the front wheels on the bracket for the bumper phil. Could even be the tyre rubbing on the arch's. Mine does the same thing. Try raising your front suspension mate.
It's where the stub axles usually mount on the axle that will be out mate. You may even find your rear axle is slightly bent, but that's the worst case scenario of course.
They're all slightly out mate tbh. Check your rear wheel bearings have no play as well, as this can give false readings if they have play.
If you run toe out at the rear remember it WILL try and swap ends. You'll get a fair amount of lift off oversteer as well mate. For fast road I'd stick...
