I can vouch for Pauls work. I described the difference as feeling like I had a passenger in the car when standard.
My next port of call will be Wayne at Chipwizards I think. Circa £400 but fully live mapped.
Try 8200535890, that's the part number on my invoice but the charging was all wrong so I'm not 100% sure.
Unit price £16.47, Net total £14.91 plus £2.61 VAT = £17.52.
I just asked for a 225/197 badge.
When my 182 manifold arrives, I plan to wrap it or have it ceramic coated. The downside with the ceramic coating is the cost involved.
I have found this wrap on Ebay...
As above. I've looked at the pictures of the 182 manifold and the link pipe and there appears to be a hole for a Llambda in each.
Am I right in thinking that blocking the second hole and boxing up the lambda will prevent the light from illuminating?
My thoughts on declaring mods' are that not only are you fully covered and are removing a reason for them not to pay out but most decent companies will also replace the mod in the event of a claim rather than just use a standard part.
I seem to remember a post many moons ago by a member who worked for an insurance company. Apparently, one of the first things their claims assessors do is to check the ECU for the number of re-flashes, especially on a car such as a 172/182. They then cross reference this with the data held on...
I think i'll just bite the bullet and drop the lot.
Still waiting for my manifold to arrive, but I did only pay £55 so I can wait all month at that price.
Cheers Ben, so I just need to loosen the bolts all around and then lower the rear section down on the studding? Any idea of the thread time on the studding?
PM'd
Looks good.
Clio_Bus, the Cup 172 badges would be a good decal as fitted to the door of Cups. The badges usually fall off but a decal would look great.
