I get over 400 miles out of a full tank on the way to the nurburgring. That's motorway driving at 70mph and iirc I stopped for fuel at 427 miles and still had 50+ on the range indicator with no low fuel light on either!!
This is in a stripped cup with passenger and luggage plus tools. Quite...

I can't get them out the "back door" though! I had to pay full retail! Lol

Bright coloured wheels rule! You know it makes sense! Not that I'm biased of course! Lol
No mate never had this run up on the dyno. Tbh it doesn't feel like it makes a great deal of difference to me, but then again your never going to feel the 7bhp it claims. I've got the grp n timing tool to alter the cams but haven't got round to doing it. I'm trying to find out if the grp n cams...

Was nice to meet yourself and Tony yesterday! The car is a real credit to you and testament to the workmanship of TDF. I have some pictures of that impreza as well!
In a word, horrendous!!!! I now have a roof scoop to aid cockpit cooling. If you put scoops on the windows to draw the air in you'll end up with your head buzzing and your ears bleeding if you go above 70mph. I speak from experience.
Cups have a 80 amp alternator on them mate. Not sure what effect it will have on the car tbh. Just means your working the alternator more which leads to reduced lifespan and slight reduction in engine power.

I can't see that the pump would be knackered this time tbh. It's mainly after repeated abuse that they cry no more.

Pump usually suffers first as well unfortunately as sam's response shows!

Yeah when it's under load all the time it generates a good bit of heat tbh. It starts to break down when it gets to hot which is not good. That's when it starts doing damage to the pump and rack.

Have you not considered a water cooled power steering reservoir? Shouldn't add much extra weight either tbh. You can get laminova ones as well if your feeling particularly flush!!
It's only cheating if you get caught iirc! And it's all about your interpretation of the rules! I tried it once in sprinting and all was well until the rules were clarified! Lol!
There's a place on Westminster industrial estate that should be able to help you out with the half nuts if your desperate mate. Rockside I think it's called? It's over 3/4's of the way down the road.
I run 2.5 degrees negative camber up front and have never experienced any lock ups from reduced contact patch tbh......did you have the steering geometry reset when you altered the camber?? Thats the only time i've experienced the entire car feeling absolute garbage due to the tracking being out.
Where have you mounted the pin to then? Do you have any pics as I like how flat yours sit tbh! I'll be using my faithful old nibbler when the time comes to fit mine.
I didn't have any diagrams mate unfortunately. I work with wiring alot as part of my job anyway so it was no real drama for me.
Yeah the uch needs to be moved as well but that can be zip tied to the dashboard frame if your keeping it. Mines just zip tied up to the wiring that runs across the car.
The rear section of the loom for the lights etc is on a multi plug in the n/s sill trim/a pillar, so I just took it out of the car completely and removed any wiring I didn't need sat in the comfort of my sofa! I then refitted it loosely so I could make sure everything I wanted to work still did...
I've used Coilspring in Sheffield before and they are very good at what they do. I still use them now for making up various different combinations of coilover springs for my track car.
I've removed the entire loom from my car, removed the unessecary/unused wiring (speakers, electric windows and mirrors, air bags and seat belt pre tensioners etc etc), re wrapped it using proper fire proof tape and refitted it into the car. Took about 4 hours to do.
As for the warning lights I...
They're not bulbs as such mate they're led's. If you fold some electrical tape in half (so it's not sticky) you can put it under the fascia plate and cover the warning lights up. It involves stripping the clocks down and using a hairdryer to warm the fascia plate as it's stuck to the clock...
