can anything be done gents or should I just go straight to the wanted section and ask for some calipers.
Fitted my rear braided houses fine and bleeded up no worries but when it came to the front . . . snap! lots of swear words later I think thank fook I tried to see if they were free before...
haha its easy done. Yer there the compbrake version. Some people say there are better versions out there like the AST's etc . . . good old 5 turbo's had one myself at one point
your talking a few hundred for the lot, if your doing leads and coil pack you may aswell do plugs too IMO. The second o2 sensor is for diagnostics IIRC so it would be the first if any
good choice IMO. Make sure you budget for worn bushes whilst your at it too.
And before you ask the next question of brakes. Braided lines, ferrodo ds2500 pads, brembo high carbon discs and some decent fluid job done.
94k ay . . . sounds well into worn engine mount territory also. Get them checked especially the lower dog bone. With you being new to the hole clio side of things, you heard of solid top suspension mounts? Not yet tried it myself but is meant to be a good mod on handling side of things and...
get sportlines and if you need new shocks get standard they are good enough for what you have said you need them for and only £50 a corner. You say you just got the car, has it had the belts done?
Re: Anyone ever wieghed their 172 cup???
There arn't any local to me closest one is 30+ minute drive. Found loads of posts with stripped cup weights and then 182 standard weights but cat find 172
As above as just got myself a rstuner and dont know what weight to put in.
Anyone ever had theirs on a weigh bridge with full interior if so please state weight and how much fuel and if you were in car
any help appreciated . . .
to be fair you should of checked when it came back. I always check they have stamped it, therefore check if its there.
In my eyes no book then prove it, if not its not got it
yer it does make sense but surely if that clamp is done up tight enough then there will be no movement? Not trying to be a pain in the arse just a mod im considering soon . . .
first thing I would do is strip the front brakes give them a good clean, grease up and rebuild. Replace parts if necessary. Had a similar noise on mine when discs were knackered but not all the time
Just checked out your website, good stuff. Loving the simplistic/subtle layout. Always wanted to be good with a camera but wouldn't know where to start other then with a point and shoot ha!
