Re: OEM Licenses
Microsoft have audited our procedures, and it is acceptable to sell an OEM license with a related piece of hardware - so in terms of Windows and Office, pretty much anything, but as an example you can't sell an OEM CD-Recording license with a hard disk drive - they aren't...
Re: OEM Licenses
Incorrect - you can sell an OEM license as long as if it is bought by a consumer, that they have bought a qualifying piece of computer hardware with it (easy enough, a new mouse suffices) or to a supplier that intends to resell the license with a piece of hardware.
That's not really a fair comparison - to a race car a tenth of a second can be winning or losing.
To a road car you make more difference being crap at changing gear than the sod all difference having of having a full fat over a Cup. Personal opinion but if my leather/alcantara seats, HID...
Can't moan about the cost of owning a car... and if you will insist on waiting until reg change for your new car then you will have another couple of months running costs to go!
I sold my Smart about 5000 miles before it needed around a grands work (at an independent, about £2k at Merc in...
Knew it was too good to last!
Got a problem with my temperature display on my 182 - it's bouncing around something chronic from right down the bottom to normal operating temperature. The symptoms look to me like a faulty connection (also ties in with French electrics) but if anyone's had any...
Possible issue with the ignition +ve feed to the headunit? As the Clio allows you to have the stereo on without the ignition being on, but you have to turn it on to do this. Further demonstrating this, it may turn off on it's own on a long journey as it doesn't know that it is running from the...
Hi all,
Bit of an odd one this, but did Renault ever do an armrest for the Mk2 Clios? As my old bird has requested one for her new 138, and it's something I miss from my old car?
Thanks!
If the handset is at fault it goes back to the vendor, who then return it to whichever manufacturer or repair outlet is used.
Software is also Orange, not Nokia, therefore again a vendor issue.
If you have a broken computer which you bought from PC World, you take it back there. Your...
It depends, if you're in the same gear then yeah, no question - but then how many times does Mr Sales Executive who tries to race pull alongside and say "I'm in 4th, you're only allowed to be in 4th as well!"? He doesn't, you just drop it to 3rd and gun it - and I think it'll be done.
Sorry, I just cried laughing.
My old man has a D5 S80 with similar torque and power, and it couldn't keep up if it's life depended on it - admittedly heavier than the 'Couldn'taffordanAudi' but you'd need a significant boost in power to manage it still IMHO...
Nice though, not to my taste...
If you use it nice and slow to put wax/glaze on it's not too bad, but crank it up (particularly when you're waiting for the 4" counterbalance to come in!) and you soon feel a bit weak...
It's Orange in so far as they supplied the goods which are faulty, and on the grounds that I don't think an N80 can be old enough to be out of warranty they are obliged to have it repaired/replaced as necessary. If they're shirking out of this then the guy has every right to b**ch about Orange...
Was my mum's S60 - I've decided it's a better guinea pig than mine!
Pics below:
I'm happy with the results - only the bonnet needed any serious attention due to an incident with her following a line painting truck (clever girl!) so had to crack some Compound Power...
And here's some apples for Mr. PGR3 graphics are crap... (apologies for the photos rather than proper shots, I hadn't moved my XBox Live account over when I did these!)
Any test site will say that it's running slow, because they're sponsored by Spyware-filled software that 'Improves' your connection speed.
Same with system maintenance products really, would you spend your money on something that installed itself onto your computer to tell you that there was...
Obviously playing it on a bad TV then, as there are scenes in PGR3 which I could swear were real...
The PS3 has been letdown after letdown. And the biggest hope for Blu-Ray media over HD-DVD doesn't even have the DualShock controllers that made PS and PS2 so much fun...
I called twice about cancelling and had to tell one of the supervisors to "push the f**king button that sends me my PAC code before I start a legal case to put her out of a job and get the rest of my money back.
It's amazing how quick they do something when they realise you actually do want...
Arrogant opensource junkie.
The only problem I had with RC1 was it's resource hunger, which for a release candidate is fair game I reckon.
Anyone that can moan about betas and RCs being shite needs a smack in the face with a shovel, it might wake them up... You signed up to the beta...
What do you base that on? Because I've never had a problem with my IE, and despite all of it's 'holes and security issues' I still maintain that it's not let a single virus in my door, because I'm not stupid enough to click anything that says 'Free' on it.;)
Ok, it's not the fastest thing in...
Re: CONphone *****house
It doesn't help, but I got out of dealing with them 7 years ago when they treated my old man like shite. I personally hope that they rot in hell as well.
O2 are a bunch of shitbags as well - they took £400 out of my account after an 'incorrect cancellation' and...
Check the 'Account' settings in Outlook Express. I can't recall the exact buttonpushes but there's an option for which connection it should use to connect - set it to use the current connection.
Because, in the nicest way possible (and without being racist!) outsourcing doesn't work. HSBC are criminal for it as well - you phone them up and unless you answer as their script dictates then they get confused and don't know what you're on about.
