Do you mean its difficult to change gear? No it should be easy at all engine speeds. Take it back to the dealer if you arent happy.
Oh, and welcome to Cliosport :)
OK I got some nice new rims, and now I can see a lot more of the brake caliper, pipes etc. I plan to get some grooved discs soon, but other than that what can I do to make this look good? Its a mess!

As Jon says, 600 or 700 miles then up it gradually. If you can do this over a few long journeys so much the better.
The gearchange light is just a warning that the limiters about to kick in. Peak power is reached at about 6500 or even less, so changing before you see the light is optimum.
If youre at all unsure Id take it to an exhaust centre or a local garage if theres one you can trust. At the very least youll need proper jacks and axle-stands - working on stuff underneath the car is a pig if you dont have ramps.
Thats a really good price. I had 2 done on my 93 RT and it cost £200.
Tip - if you can afford it get the other side done as soon as you can. It cant be in a much better state than the one you just replaced, and you seem to have found a garage that doesnt charge too much.
Mille Miglia HT3. They look like this, but Ill be getting 17"s - these look like 16"s.

Im getting some Falkens (FK451) tomorrow Tony (with my new wheels :D:D:D:D) Does that site list them?? Geoff had them on his 172 - he said they were fine.
I put a Pipercross one in mine, made no difference to the sound or performance as far as I could tell. There are no real problems with these as they just replace the OE filter. The main advantage is that you can clean and re-use the filter instead of buying a new one.
My 172 is paid for with a company car allowance - I need something reasonably sensible as its no good turning up at a customer site all sweaty etc. Climate Control & comfy seats essential!
You wont notice a performance difference between Cup / 172 on the road, both are utterly stunning...
Welcome :D Dont trust anyone with more than 2 stars, thyre probably trying to get you to do a trackday, 1/4 mile session, a show or something awful like that :p
If you still want to get this done, have a word with London Superchips.

Theyve done work for quite a few people on here and they seem to know what theyre doing.
I doubt anyone at Renault will give the ok to attack brake calipers - theyre pretty fundamental after all. The calipers wont move with new pads - just the pistons within them.
The offset is the distance in mm between the centre of the wheel (horizontally) and the actual mating surface - so it...
