Hi Ive decieded im gonna refurb my alloys my self, If I mess it up I can allways get the pro's to do it. I dont have a compresser so its gonna have to be an aerosol job.
So basically where is the best place to get aerosol paint from Halfords? I want decent quality paint and buying off the...
I know the cheapest way to make or handle better abs go faster is to lose seats And so on but the exhaust sound really drones from the back with no seats and IMO if it's a daily it will just wind you up.
Well your missing my main point, but why do you have to justify what petrol you put in your car. If you can afford to get a nice meal why not go for it rather than mcdonalds. Why put good oil in rather than the cheapest of the cheap. All the things we do to our cars aren't usually logically...
I personally use v power as it seems to smoothen the drive of the car also the couple of £ extra a tank makes you feel like your treating your car. My first car was a 1.4 16v 100bhp arosa and it had 95 map or 97 map. Now it ran fine on 95 but on 97 and higher it ran so much smoother. You could...
Cheers mate il have a search round. I'm gonna dismantle it and put back together. Should I move the steering wheel whilst doing it as I'm sure I moved it last time by accident?
I personaly doubt it as that only help you to turn the wheels. When was the last time the car had its geo checked, the more cars are used and get older the geo sometimes goes way out.
No I dont think so as I wanted the same thing as in snow its useless, if you turn it off the brake bias gos 50:50 rather than 90:10 so its will unbalabce the car.
There is a guy in the forsale section selling a gear linkage conversion kit, Its to give it better feel and a firmness without doing the damage of a short shifter.
Also what should I torque the ball joint bolts to? Is it possible I put the ball joint on wrong? I only took off the 2 bolts and put them back though:(
Well one of my springs is snapped and my car is coming up to 95k so I'm changing the springs and dampers so I will just get 4 wheel alignment done and get then to sort the problem out.
Is the steering out because of the ball joint or the driveshaft?
Hi guys need you help AGAIN (seriously you guys have helped alot:star:)
So I finished of doing my abs rings today ( unbolt hub nut, undo ball joint, take driveshaft out and reverse)
So basically not my steering is off a little bit. I have to have my steering wheel about 10degree left to be...
Fuchs is good, millers, gulf anything really as long as it's fully synthetic. If your tracking it or constantly driving it hard then a ester synthetic is good like Titan race, silkolene or royal purple but that's alot pricer.
If it's this time of year your going to use it I would recommend a sealer like egp or a hard wax as soft wax won't last long with the weather we are having.
