Cheers mate, I have been told that if a spring comes of the clamps it could smash your car up or kill you so the top ones are more like what im looking for. Would these be suitable for all springs e.g. lowering springs for the clio, oem clio springs and oem and standard for most other cars?

Honestly mate it's easy. Look at my previous threads and Fred has put a written guide there. It's abit basic but it's all you really need. Breaker bar for the hub nut to break it. Loosen it till it comes off. 2 x 18mm nut and bolt need undoing they are for the ball joint. I did the one...

Yes got it done in the end. Kept battering the hub but I thought there must be a better way of this.

I had a ktec stealth and silenced decat and my mpg went up by 3mpg. I did use the rstuner to put a newer .cal on it though.

Did the abs rings but can seem to get the end of the driveshaft bit(big centre nut) to jut out alot so I can get the nut on and the ball joint sqaured up. Thanks

Yes I got that from the last 20 posts. The abs was really annoying me again yesterday. Also I'm engine braking and generally driving gently but the car doesn't want to come to a halt and it has a hissy fit on hills where as if you pull up the hand brake it stops and stays there.

Is there anyway I can trick my abs into being off then? I had the abs ring problem and before I changed them it was worse at low speed.

Abs is pretty useless in snow/ice. It thinks your slipping all the time and gives you no brakes. So I take it I should just leave it as is?

Hi guys and girls, I have fitted winter tyres to my car and they are great but I was wondering if I could turn the abs off but only on really snowy days. I have drove cars without abs before and they are fine. Is there a fuse I can take out to stop it coming on? Thanks

It's a 172 mk2 ph2 51 plate. Nothing wrong with a dealers it's just it's nearly double the price of the powerflex ones. If I can't get the oem ones for a decent price i'l just get the powerflex ones.

Thats the only ones I can find, the powerflex ones and I dont want the dash rattling or the gearstick ideally. I wouldnt have minded before when i had the vibratechnics mounts on but now I want it OEM.
