Ordered some of these last night, ive been waiting for them to come in to stock for months hoping that my current tyres last. Beat the VAT increase too.
Mine does similar when stone cold but not to that extent, maybe hunts 2 or 3 times before settling at the cold idle speed.
If its ok after a few minutes I wouldn't worry.
MR4TC?
The chassis are about £300, its all the electrics that are expensive. £200 speedo, £80 motor, £100 servo, £100 battery x2, £300 radio gear then all the tools, charger, power supply and set up stuff.
There not even considered quick anymore, theres been 3 years of development since that video.
Now there easily in the 70's on tracks that size. (low 60's in that vid)
You've changed your username since yesterday lol.
Anyway, yeah definitely need seats. The 8's were fine, I was really suprised. A few moments in the first session but you only had to be careful for the outlap then they were fine.
You'll need to remove the caliper and pads. The piston may need pushing back in (not winding), it will depend on the thickness of the new vs old discs. You wont need to bleed the brakes.
Tip: remove the torx bolts holding the dics to the hub first with someone on the brakes. This is alot...
I keep reading on here about the brake bias changing when the ABS isnt working, I did a trackday at Oulton with no ABS (ABS ring issue) and it was absolutly fine, no locking of rears.
The fronts got bloody hot as usual and the rears were barely warm.
I got a very good quote from them, was a little cheaper than adirmal but with like for like replacement on mods, lower excess and a power cap as above.
I got all the errors to come up at once like that, it was just a glitch. Im not sure what caused it but its only done it once.
As for not being able to errase codes - pass.
