^ This. I took an instructor out at Cadwell on Sunday for 5 laps (free ) I made about 3 seconds a lap just showing me where I could be braver and I wasn't going slowly to begin with.
The instructor also agreed with Dave that Clios are too easy to drive on 888's.
You'll need a clip or rstuner with airbag module to read the airbag ECU. Theres a few people on here that will do it for £20 depending on where you are.
The stuff on the roof to hold the headlining on is different to the stuff on the floor. The stuff on the floor is easy to get off, the stuff on the roof well, you'll see ;)
Errr...:S
When people say boiling fluid its just the fluid in the lines close to the caliper. The bubbles that form are then compressed and cause a long pedal. If you had fluid on the master cylinder its either over filled or leaking.
You have a small coolant leak from either one of the pipes going into the thermostat housing or the housing itself. The white stuff is where the coolant evaporates to leave a crystiline substance, looks a bit like limescale where it builds up.
I'd drain the coolant, take the hoses off the...
This is going to sound a bit weird....
..but will trying to fit large people into my Suzukas damage them? (the seats not the people, I dont care about them). I imagine it will be uncomfortable but will flexing the seats damage them or the covering? They are the kevlar ones.
Hows that any different :rasp:
Apart from you opening the bleed screw before putting the coolant in (not that it makes any difference) and giving it some revs to heat up quicker its the same? (oh, and an extra bleed after the thermostat has opened, not that there is usually any air in it at...
Why? What else is there to do? You can squeeze the hoses to help get the air out but ive not found it necessary on clios.
I didn't put top up the header tank as the level drops but I thought that was pretty obvious!
Theres a bleed screw on the thermostat housing. Fill the header tank, open bleed screw till coolant pisses out. Run car till the fan kicks in. Wait a bit to cool then rebleed. Done.
You may have seen me about at some point, im usually in Hinckley once or twice a week. I flashed a black 225 out of a side road near B&Q the other not, not you was it?
Ive taken the rear seats out because you can't use them with fixed buckets anyway, whats the point in carrying them around when there never used? Also means its alot easier to get track wheels/jacks/tools/assorted crap in the back.
Easy with a relay. Wire the coil to the ignition live then whatever you want to turn on to the normally closed pole of the relay via the battery.
This however is a really good way of flattening the battery!
