Every car that comes off the production line will have defects of some kind (pinhole, popping, craters, seeds etc) its just a case of them being picked up on inspection and repaired.
Different manufacturers have different standards for what is acceptable and in what area of the car.
If someone...
It's not the dephaser, I don't even know if your engine has one. Even if it did it doesn't make a humming noise when it goes.
That's a pic of the auxiliary belt, it could be one of the tensioners / idlers humming.
The battery should only read 7.5v under a huge load or when its dead. If its at 0 at any point its either really dead or there's a short somewhere. I'm thinking an alternator issue.
For the steering wheel there are many spacers that will fit any wheel/boss combination. A quick release boss will also add length. Look on demon tweaks for all of that.
Look at the Burpspeed thread on how to adjust the gear linkage so that neutral is where 4th is now. If that isnt enough the...

Don't do what I did! If you use a ratchet spanner don't undo them too far or you get to a point where the spanner is tight up agaisnt the rad so you can't get it out and you can't screw the bolt back in because of the ratchet mechanism.
Took me ages to get it out!
When I bought my car the exhaust was sticking out far enough to see all of the Janspeed logo. I spent many hours of swearing trying to get it to fit further in (moved about 5mm) before I realised about the bumper.
Did you try Brentacre? They know what they're talking about, had a discussion about rear anti-roll bars and not making book power.
They quote based on power, everything else is free with like for like replacement.
