Regular 172s seem to be around 12k sterling from walk-in places like Motorpoint. Cant find any Cups at all at the moment but will keep browsing.

The MX5 is a lot slower round a track than a 172 - there were 3 of them at Donington Park last November and they were cannon fodder for the Cliosport team :D

About £170 for the 12k service out here in the countryside. Id expect to pay a bit more in the prosperous south..

A further 12k from that mileage. Some dealers put a little sticker on the inside of the windscreen, on mine it says 23,000 as I had the first one done at 11,000.

True. I paid £80 for the same thing a while ago.

They do quieten down a little after a few thousand miles - when mine was new I used to get headaches on the motorway - not any more thankfully. I guess its because they get lots of gunk and junk on the inside and therefore become less boomy.

They are not very accurate, in fact mine is stuck on 35 degrees at the moment :confused:
