My O/S washer was inoperative so at service they replaced it with one that leaks.... always has and always will - life's too short to replce this again,.. with another product with a known fault.
yeah, liquid yellow is lush. Have seen just the one 172 in that colour on a sunny day in St Helens back in the summer. Made my pearl black 172 feel a bit drab!!!!
I like my dark-skinned french tart, but liquid yellow is just cool as fook 'in the flesh' so to speak.
ENJOY AWAY!!! Just go...
i had one of these, a 1.4 as a courtesy car when my 172 was serviced... deadly quiet, very economical: 35mpg around London but the least feedback I've received from a car, oh and boy was it slow. And it handled like my old MkV Cortina. Had a glass roof and keyless entry etc though...v.swish...
i've found the cause: the plastic cover of the runners, near and parallel to the dor sill flexes...
if i hold it tight there's no squeak.
Guess i'll shove a rag in between it and the door sill or something
does anyone know of a freeware utility that will show how many Mbs I use per month,.. I'm restricted to 1 Gb and don't want to be stung!!!

is it 3.5mm or phono to phono?
Could you just wire the ipod to it and control the ipod independently of the HU?
Which moodels is this in?
Will it be in my 2001 full fat 172?

ON MINE THEY NEVER HAVE DONE,
I've taken them all apart before, and refitted the stupid connectors on passeneger seat and renewed connections on driver's seat. awkard to say the least...
Sounds like the back/side of base nr door of the driver's seat is creaking under my weight (I'm 16 stone, and before people start checking their cupboards for unaccounted pies, I'm 6ft 4), now I'm heavy, but surely there's heavier people who don't 'ave creaky seats?
Anyway, I've tightened the...
if you're saying there could be overspray and probably rust on the discs (from bad weather while unused), then i imagine this would reduce the friction on the braking surface. I've got the mk2 172 and the braking power is immense; 100-0mph is something like 4 secs, better than a ferrari 360...
it's all work that needs doing, and it's an independent specialist i went to... just a pain finding £240 + MOT £36 + £15 re-test fee; the new MOT procedure is crazy...

Took my mk2 172 for an MOT at a Renault Indie today, came back needing:
OSR wheel bearing (I've been saying that for 10k and Renault said it was fine)... So I'm happy, cos it's noisy as hell.
NS lower ball joint; again I've noticed some not so inspiring metallic clunks for a while now...
