Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (Spaced, streched, slammed more)
Looking wicked!
Pics of the Defender thats in back ground of pic 6, coolest and greatest cars ever made!!!
Pics of fence?
I don't know enough about repairing cars but with 1k in the bank I get you could get it back on the road, maybe not perfect to start with but drivable and usablr again, save up a bit more while and then get it mint again. Seems silly to loss so much by just braking it!
Like I...
Unfortunately I have no idea, we just talked the technicians at uni into trying, but like I said it didn't fit, plus we were trying something different!
I personally can't see a problem with machining them. It depends on how they achieve the different offsets in the first place?
Edit: Damn, Fred was there first.
We tried to do it at uni and we couldn't get the wheel in the lathe ( think that's what its called). Could prob do it in a C n C...
Each dust cap is a seperate mod... thats 4 modifications you have made :nono:
Hasn't this always been the case with new mini's and the "chilli pack". Its complete bulls**t and just insurance companies f**king us over.
This is why companies like sky and brentarce are so good, they arern't tw*ts!

Seems fairly expensive!
I would love to see a clio with a meg engine in. Are the engines pretty similar in...
I hate it when that happens, you buy a few cars... forget you have bought them!
Do you think he got the same feeling as when you find £5 in your pocket you forgot you had?
Yeah, happens in any car. If your shifting its just something to keep an eye on, people see the distance you are away and pull out without considering your speed!!
The other one that gets me is people you go to fast a give ways, expecting nothing to be coming. When they realise you are coming...
I was just refering to why they might be diffrent on the 182's, hence why some have dents and some don't, Seems unfortunate that it won't fit. I know what you mean about the engine mount. Would be a pain having to replace it all the time.
Like you said, I hope its worth the hassle!
I believe K-tec have sold out but are due in soonish...email them they are very helpful.
Raceland/k-tec coilover depate has been raging for a while on here, search for raceland coilovers there will be a few threads, then you can make your own mind up. Personally I think you pay for what you...
Yeah but I am assuming all 182's are the same so why do some have the dent and some not.
Thinking about it tho, maybe 182 cups/cup packed cars have it because I think they have a thicker anti-role bar?? If that is what the mani is hitting then maybe that explains the reason renault made put...
I wouldn't hit it with a hammer!
I can't understand why some have dents and some don't?
But is it possible that your engine mounts are a bit worn and if you were to replace them it might solve the problem? Have you tried tilting the engine forward abit like "Andyman" said?
If I was an insurance company I would wanna know if you car looked exactly like a higher spec/superior model (not meaning to offend anyone) as i would imagine it increases the chances of it being stolen by c***s who think it is an actual sport.
My cousin works in manchester a few of colleagues...
Was going to say get one of these:

But it might be to heavy depending on your licence?
I disagree with the 1.2 stuggling to tow another car, it wouldn't be fast but then you can't tow at high speed, I personally would be more worried about stopping with that weight on.
A 1.2 would be fine pulling a trailer, but I would imagine (as said above) it will be the weights that f**ks...
Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (Spaced, streched, slammed more)
^^ f**k me they are massive.
Def meet up soon, cleaned my car for the first time in months today. Then it rained
Also wanna have a gander at the puma as well sometime.
Surely that only applies if you can't prove he pulled out in front of you? If there is a witness or cctv etc... then the person pulling out will be in the wrong!
He was in the wrong lane, Im sure you can request the insurance company to send someone assess the accident, and then it will be clear he was in the wrong lane! Also if someone pulls into the lane you are already in and they hit you then you are not at fault (think thats what you said...
Keep the 182, get something cheap and good mpg to go to work in. Then you can reduce the insurance a bit on the 182 (limited milage) then spend the savings on modding the 182.
I will be in a similar situation in september time. Going to buy a cheap second car to drive to work then turn the cup...
Re: cleaned/euro mk2 phase 1 (stealth fitted, fk rear lights and rear bumper)
I'm getting really impatient, I really can't wait for you to get the interior done and get the car painted!! The interior is going to be sweet!
The new wheels look wicked, makes it look soooo low! I was slightly embarrassed bout the state of my car, it is so dirty!!! I was just on the way back from domino's :approve:.
