Gave the cup a quick wash yesterday. This afternoon I fitted my new Skoda splitter, made a real hash of it and had to re-fit parts of it a couple of times and still need to trim the ends properly, but I am pretty happy with the result. Feel it finally makes the car look complete! Anyway went...

Might be the top mounts, mine does it a bit turning the other why and its quite comman apparently. But i wouldn't say mine sounded like you described so maybe not! Sorry I'm no more help!

Woke up this afternoon with a great day planned, washing car, fitting new splitter, going for a drive etc... Only to find my drivers side window had been keyed. While I was checking the rest of the car for damage the local bobby turned up and had a look, took some photos etc... We got talking...

They tend to leak gearbox oil and from what people say its pretty normal for a Renault!! Mine leaks really badly. Apparently its from the gear selector, it may just have pooled slightly in your case and when you undid the bolt the oil has found a way out. I wouldn't worry too much about it...

I'm pretty sure they make horizontal docks for them, to go with the tom tom i phone app. Pretty sure they are £100 tho, which is a bit mental!

This is true, 1st will hold it on a hill, im pretty sure any gear will. I barely use my hand brake. I can't explain why it happens, i read up about it once but i have forgotten it!

Might be a bit obvious but def worth a check with regards to a the vibration and grinding, but check all the wheel bolts are tight. From what you say it does sound like engine mounts, I snapped part of mine the other day and if i pull away in any other way than like an old lady then it knocks...

I really like it, exhaust aside, it needs recessing. Love the wheels and the stance! What wheels are they?
