Hey guys,
I have just bought a new mtb and am planning on travelling further afield with it, so chucking it in the back isn't an option when I need other gear in there as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction of some bars (ebay or other) that will fit a 182. I have browsed ebay and...
Have you done the check where you hold the button at the end of the stalk with ignition off and then switch the ignition on whilst still holding the button.
All the dash lights should come on. Look for the important ones to see if the airbag, esp, abs lights are there. Otherwise it means they...
You shouldn't need a new bottle unless it is cracked, but the pumps are only cheap, less than £15. They are the same for some citroens and peugeots. Also remember there are two pumps in there, one for the bumper washer jets and one for the windscreen/rear screen.
You need to make sure the bump strips are smooth before putting any vinyl on them, even then it won't take too well to plastic, so by the time you get the best surface ready for wrapping you might aswell just paint them anyway.
If there was no damage you should have said 'what accident' and got them to come look at your car for any damage or lack off.
If there was no damage at all(even the smallest scratch) then i would have denied it through my teeth.
Another +1 for the £20 ebay jobby from china. I have had mine about 8months now and its taken a beating tbh, never let me down though.
The only problem you get when you have one of these 'dash cams' is that once you have been running one for a good few months it makes you feel vulnerable if you...
If it is going into a bodyshop then you could get them to alter the front bumper so it fits the original wings, that way you don't need to buy the wings or the skirts. That's if you don't want to got the full rep route.
There is a guide on here in the guides section that will show you how it can...
Black will be worse, matt or gloss. matt scratches way too easily and gloss you will get swirls if you are not careful with washing and you obviously cant polish them out.
The carbon will work out ok to be fair, its not as if the roof takes much abuse. Just a tip but your friend will know if he...
Are you sure she was going straight past.
Are you sure she didn't try to take the bend where you was waiting patiently to pull out and then lost control and hit you ;)
As people have said above buddy, don't waste the money. It really isn't worth it. Whether or not you listen and take this advice is another story but I can guarantee that you will not regret having saved money, and having extra to put towards something you really want in the future.
You could...
I have got the RS192, my experience of it.
Looks great with the slash cut tips that slope with the back bumper.
Doddle to fit, a small amount of bodgery may be needed with the exhaust hangers
Sounds great when giving it a bootfull
Nice little growl when the key is turned but then you can't hear...
You can do yes, they even do the little sump plug washer http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_223663_langId_-1_categoryId_256261
A funnel is a great buy. The bigger the better really to prevent it overflowing but it depends how high...
I would have a go yourself bud.
Its one of those thing that once you have done it once, you will wonder why you never did it in the past. A saving of about £40 for half hours work is a great feeling. Plus it is one of those jobs that you can't really get wrong provided you have the right oil...
Ouch mate. £7000 and you want to let it go for £5500. Will the dealer not take it back for closer to that figure. Is it on finance also?
Plus as you said in your other thread you are 18. No way in hell do you want to get yourself out of this situation and lose potentially nearly £2000 and then...
Hello chaps
Does anyone happen to know if the mirror glass is the smae across the range of mk2 ph2 clios.
I needed to change my outside temp sensor, got it out all nice and crack.....stood on it :o.
Will a mk2 ph2 1.2 with heated mirrors for example fir the 182 mirror holder?
Cheers for any...
Let me take a guess, they got the driveshafts from eurocarparts or similar. My dad used to work there and had nothing but trouble with 172/182 driveshafts, none of them fit.
Have they tried fitting a genuine renault shaft at all?
I had the rapid clicking noise at one stage. It also turned out to be the battery. Mines still on the original (2004) all because i was sat with the ignition on and kept using the windows, blowers etc. After i jumped it and gave it a good run for an hour or so its been fine since. Have you given...
Have you taken the needle off using a fork or similar. Take the troubled needles off, engine on then off to let the needles settle in the correct position. Line up the needle with where it should sit without spinning it then just push it on. It is just the water temp isn't it.
The needle 'kick' thing I also have on my blue dash conversion. It just drops about 5mm below when the ignition is cut then kicks back to normal.
It seems like your temperature needle isnt on properly in the right position. I think the trick is to line the needle up first then press it on...
I would say they aren't brilliant in the wet and I would recommend that you change them as soon as you get down to about 3mm. The PE2/PS3 are great all the way down to the edge of being road legal. But the PZero really does lose it in the wet below 3mm.
This is the most stupid thing i have ever heard..... although i do totally agree with it. I always have to check mine sometimes because it looks low, usually drivers side but its always fine.
Get your money back for the bad engine after you get proof that's its dead. Take the car to somewhere where they don't charge £1600 for parts and labour without an engine. Happy motoring for atleast a good few years to come.
