y would you want a new engine. 90k isnt really a problem on these cars as long as its been looked after. if you buy a new engine all the things you mentioned will need replacing neway so you will end up out of pocket neway and possibly a newer engine that hasnt been looked after.

a good polish should bring the colour back up tbh. if you get a heat gun and apply heat to the stripes they should peel off easily. as for the glue you can get special label remover/tar&glue remover, should be pretty cheap really and a bit of elbow grease will see it come off well.

just for reference, the term 182ff means it has cup packs. so its just 182ff, not 182ff with cup packs. people will be along soon to tell u off some more lol. as you say the suspension on the ph1 is tired. so a refresh with standard shocks will make a huge differece to the feel of the car...

Re: LED Dash cinversion it may work when all the light are working but if they dont then really its only an lcd problem. u havent knocked it or anything have you.

dephaser doesnt tend to really whine tho and you cant usually hear it above 1800rpm. normally just on idle.

its not linked with timing no. and yes water pump is within the aux assembly. has the car had the timing belt kit replaced before as if it hasnt that needs doing aswell ideally.

if i were you i would ring renault and find out if your car has been back for the bonnet catch recall. if it has then you may be able to claim off renault as they were supposed to sort the problem.
