Nah filtered water is the champion in hotter weather no drying rules! To minimise further the chances of any marring by leaving a slick watery finish.

    Detailing Spray

There are a few that can be purchased in bulk the Megs one normally works out cheaper. Won't strip anything and will refresh the just waxed look.

    Detailing Spray

Spray it on the wet panel before using the Waffle Weave drying towel to add lubrication.

If your using it to aid drying I would get something that works out cheap in bulk such as Meguiars Last Touch.

    Exhaust tips

Wirewool and Autosol or Autoglym Metal Polish for the initial clean up on heavy grime, followed by Megs NXT Metal Polish or Autoglym Super Resin Polish for the final luster or standalone on decent finsihes.

The best way to clean my car is.....?

Same application as any conventional shampoo. Seems to leave a better finish for me.

Car Cleaning - General Info please

The Autoglym Shampoo is one of there poorest products, better off trying something like the Meguiars Gold Class Wash from Halfords or Sonax Gloss Shampoo from your local Vauxhall Dealer. Wash Mitts wise the grey lambswool mitts that Halfords sell are better than the Meguiars ones. For the cash...

    Wheel brush

I use the Black and Blue cone type one from Halfords.

Chemical Guys - XXX Hardcore Paste Wax

#26 is better suited to solid flat Blacks and Red IMO. I prefer #16 on metallics.

The best way to clean my car is.....?

Off the shelf Gold Glass is not bad , Sonax Gloss Shampoo from Vauxhall is also very good. Shopping online Duragloss Wash from Serious Performance gets my vote.

    swirl remover

As above - The Imperial Handglaze I have here has no swirl removing power it mearly hides them. There are other products in the 3M range that will remove swirls, I personally use Menzerna Final Finish and Intensive Polish.
