I was hoping to give mine a lick over but it is too bloody cold, copat of wax if it's lucky! The problem with those clip on outer ones is they damage the paint when removed :(

Cracking year of captures as ever, Cup race ones are superb.

Maxi Suds and a small dash of Snowfoam, or Hyperwash for me these days.

My main reason for not using it much is I am not sure how wax friendly it is, don't want it stripping the waxes!

Wash and trim dress on my Silver 306 and it looks as good as the time I pc'd it !

You may get away with a good polish by hand on Silver in most lights the swirls will be hard to spot.

Some give a finish works means it still looks as fresh as it was just waxed, some dull the finish. Where was the Sonax from ?

If it is anything like the TomTom one go into the TomTom Plus menu and make sure the warnings are switched on.

Best finish: Sonax Gloss Shampoo Duragloss 901 Best Value and for bulk use: Meguiars Hyper Wash Meguiars Shampoo Plus Those are the only ones I really use anymore though do use the Swissvax Car Bath on my 182 when it is wearing one of there waxes.

They say to wash them first, I have used them straight out of the packet though with no ill effects.

Not tried that or the Victoria wax as I have far to many waxes and shampoos already ! I tend not to QD the daily hack so need the soap to give a finish. 182 always gets QDed and or Zymol Feild Glaze after wash so not important. Lot's of what I have in the list won't be purchased again !

Neither seem harsh on waxes and sealants. I wash my 306 with a stronger than recommended mix of Hyper Wash as it goes at least a month without washing and that only has one coat of Jeffs AGT and a coat of Zymol Titanium on it and it looks good, and paint feels super slick after. Mixed up...

I have both the Hyper Wash and the Shampoo Plus. Both clean well, produce lots of suds, and leave a good finish, the later has the edge in the finish it leaves, though the Hyper Wash is super economical 1 part soap to 400 parts water IIRC - so one pump easily does a bucket. I have had my bottle...

Poorboys for me too for the same reasons, Cleaner free so it can be layerd itself and if used over other products on there without stripping.

Indeed - Less is best when it comes to the EGP, even when you get it on nice and thin it is still to thick, nice and thin and cured well and it wipes off easily, damp days are a no non. LOL @ Ali - M Seal is proper shite !
