You will get better results with a foam type product yes if you want shaving foam type results, otherwise normal shampoo will be ok. I use a small amount of snow foam mixed with normal shampoo myself as I am not 100% convinced how was friendly they are.

If you have a foam gun, super spray or foam lance for a pressure washer it is worth looking into, would not use conventional bucket washing.

Again the above works well, but while removing the bugs chances are it will be stripping off your wax or sealant. Ideally you don't want to have to use anything other than shampoo and water unless you want to re-protect.

Even 15-20 seconds in the same spot you would struggle to do much. In the same token I struck through paint on a 182 in much less. Tom - I know what you mean, I have not even used a cutting pad on most of mine as I know it will be hear for the long term.

I have a bit left in a bottle, produces a fairly slick wash not overly suddy though, worked out expensive when you look at what you can get a US Gallon or the SHampoo Plus or Hyperwash for.

What are you wanting to do mix another shampoo with the Snowfoam ?

Blotting is only for the drying stage when using waffle weave type towels. Polishing, Waxing and QDing I always use plush Microfibers and wipe normally.

I think they say to dilute for claying. I have one bottle cut for that and drying, and one full strength for actual QD'ing during polishing.

I have a bottle of Last Touch cut 50/50 with water for drying duties makes it go further.

Never actually rub during drying, lay the towel on the panel and blot the water off.

I have the smaller bottle here the 901. As above think it is just the quantity that differs.

What does the XX retail at these days ? Good alternative to say the Megs consumer stuff, spend a bit extra and there are much nicer products.

I only really used the TomTom on long journeys, but did use them both - though the bloody RA2 refuses to update now so just the TomTom now.

My TomTom One has speed cameras and works through the screen, picks them up around the same time as my RA2 does. The updates for the TomTom speed camera database have also just gone weekly.

Trade only product, even without it on my daily hack water still does not cling when used with an open hose.

I have been lucky for the past 12 years then! Small jug of luke warm water out the tap works fine.

I rinse using AG Autogloss Rinse and sheet water off with an open hose so never have problems with any shampoo having water left on the car.

If your car was clean enough you would have had nothing to worry about! The only thing I used to dislike the non standard cars in the standard classes, or people that made mods to there car such as painting the floor pan and still wanting to stay in that class. Surely the judging points scheme...
