    A mate of a mate is selling a 172. Standard, and he is having no luck shifting it either, so although the wheels may be a put off, I don't think thats the only reason its not selling.

    I'm not too sure on the layout of the Clio door, but check where the wiring loom goes through to see if its sealed correctly. Maybe spray coming up from the road?

    well, nice bloke came tonight and saw the car. Agreed a price and he is coming back tomorrow with the cash, once his insurance cheque clears. Hopefully that will be the car sold. (and he liked the wheels too)

    I never clean the engine bay as from experience, a squeaky clean engine means you are trying to hide problems.
