You will struggle to individual differences of waxes on silver to be honest.
I use P21s http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/p21s-carnauba-wax/prod_357.html
or
Optimum Car wax http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/optimum-sizes-p-167.html
on my silver car over an Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection Base
Sod the wash technique, no wonder people damage there cars claying, over and over the area so many times and with only plain water as lube !
Also like the way he has it all in a huge bit of it ready to kill the whole bar if he drops it.
SRP is safe to do each time you wash BUT there should be no need though, good wash technique and you should not need to use it more than 2/3 times a yea certainly not ever time you wash - once a month tops.
Remember every time you use SRP it strip everything off your paint meaning you need to...
You will know when you actually go through it as it losses all the gloss, thin clearcoat in theory however can still look fine until you actually strike through. Look very carefully at the paint especially on the edges etc and see hoe it compares to other areas of the car. The amount of orange...
And the rest for ones that actually give you a break down of layers
The 400 quid ones only give you a total measure which still leaves you pretty much guessing what you think the clearcoat layer is thickness wise.

Buy a very expensive Paint Thinkness Gauge that measures all the seperate layers in the cars...
P21s is a good looking wax, but is not very durable, be looking at reapplying about once a month.
If you happy with the paintwork condition (i.e no defects etc) no need to re-polish every month, just reapply another coat of wax. I try to limit polishing to once or twice a year.
After washing a...
With the IP.
Menzerna Intensive Polish PO91L is the original formula, is less lubricated than Menzerna Intensive Polish (PO85RD 3.02) which means you can't work it as long 3.02. Both work well, swings and roundabouts as the 91 can give quicker work times, the longer work time of 3.02 better...
If you where to go down the Menzerna route Hannah the finish that Finish leaves is superb, you could then use a sealant or wax as the paint would already look spot on.
The other products used should give good flake pop too - I understand the Mirror Wet to be a Glaze like the RMG so you could use that then your wax.
To measure your paint you looking at a big chunk of money. Best of just using common sense and being careful.
You can polish over the stone chips...
You can't really deep clean and scrub it like everything else in the interior. A wipe over with a damp cloth and maybe some mild interior cleaner is all you can really do and I am not sure that will be enough to remove the smell from that part of things.
