Anyhow, according to Parkers.co.uk, a 1.4RT (no Sport listed) is: A1- £3275 Good - £2800 Fair - £1680 Trade (whatever that means) - £2240 It didnt ask whether the car was an import or not LOL!

Work it out using goal-seeking:- Find the car you want to buy - establish the price. Work out how much of your existing dosh you are willing to put towards it Ask enough for your old car to fund the difference! Wow Im cooking with gas today!

Thats true GR - but occasionally you can get 0% and they are certainly not making a profit on that! I got 1.9% which amounts to a good whack off the price over 4 years. Still cheaper to get an import, but the point I was making is that the screen price is not quite the full story.

Go to your local Renault Dealer and explain your dilemma. Tell them to give you the very best quote they can for a new car. Then have a look around the import garages like motorpoint etc, and see whether the amount you can save makes it worthwhile. Do NOT believe the horror stories about imports...

Yeah, a guy in our street has one and its a nice car for sure. No faster than my 172 - probably a bit slower in fact, but it does handle nicely. But the price??????? Another 2 or 3 grand and youre in Scoobyland!

Whats the problem with the chat room anyway? I was using it with Jas, Roamer, Rhys, Stu and one or two others last night with no problems that I could detect. I like it!
