Yeah, thats right. My old man has an A5. Hes had nothing but trouble with the handbrake not activating properly, sometimes it says handbrake malfunction the onboard computer other times it doesnt. Been into Audi several times for repair and still the fault keeps coming back.

Yup, i did mate. Alls you need to do is pump the jack up enough so that it litterly lifts the exhaust a couple of mm higher than normal to take the weight of the mounts. Just lift one exhaust with the jack, change the mount and repeat with the other exhaust.

Cheaper than Renault and quality seems decent. Think they were £9 each from there and so far mine have been on 12months and not sagged.

Car looks great. Some nice subtle colour coding you've done there. Ive often wondered about getting the bumper strip sprayed myself.

Shock took me 25mins tops to change btw. Renault are a joke
Bulb replaced tonight at a cost of £2.09. Took me 30secs-1minute tops to replace on Halfords car park. I can see now why Renault charge what they do :rolleyes:
Hmmm ive removed the dash a few times and would say its a little bit more than a 15min job. Surely its an hour all in? It's been a while but im pretty sure it took me longer to remove and refit the dash than 15mins.

Car went in to Renault today to have the headlight washer replaced (Thats headlight washer number 3 in 12months) under parts and labour warranty.

Just a quick one, when changing the rear shock is it advisable to put lock tight on the threads when retighting or will they be ok just torqued up?
