Swissvax onyx or chemical guys 50/50

No the CF will remove the EGP. In the SRP and EGP routine just use the Wax over the EGP, though I find the Cleaner Fluid and Wax looks better so have ditched sealants for the summer. I apply the waxes with a foam hand pad and remove with Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towels.

    Polishing Black Gold...

Strange that the SRP has left holograms, I would re apply the SRP bit with with a Foam pad and remove with a decent microfiber cloth and see if that helps.

Cheers Mark - twas a shame. Yes - It was driven all the way to the FCS in the rain, those there early saw it arrive dirty and watch me spend 3 hours cleaning it !

Just use a cloth and some quick detailer and a soft brush. Although on Sunday I just left the dirt round them!

If you can stretch to it Onyx for sure. Both look great but the Onyx has the edge and maintains the looks even after a few weeks and washes.

Silver is harder to see the results at it reflects the light so much so is hard to achieve the gloss and depth of darker colours. Clay is a worth while step on all colours though to get the paint properly clean.

My 182 - FCS Show Prep and on the Day Cleaning

Hard to tell- car looked great in the sun on the Sat, but any better than the BOS not sure. Was easier on than the Concours and did not do the out gassing thing. Actually using it in the rain it beads even better than the BOS. After washing the car last night even without QD'ing it looks as good...

Cheers - The original scratch X does not work well by PC, the new one has been reformulated, when worked it will start to go clear and translucent looking so you will struggle to see it on the paint.

    Thinners...

I would think it would look odd - If they are going to blow it in locally they could at least use the right colour rather than just gloss black.

    PC Product’s needed

Three main routes are: Meguiars 83 and 80 Poorboys SSR 1, 2 and 2.5 Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final Finish The later for me provide the best results but with the stepest learning curve, I started off with the Poorboys which I found easyist to master. Always use the mildest polish and pad...

    Meg's Scratch-X

It takes a long time to do a small area. Each 12 inch by 12 inch area can take 5-10 applications to make any real improvement. Bear in mind that each application you need to work the product till it is gone which can take 5 mins of so. It is a long process and tiring. It is also very rarely 100%...
