http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/ will have all those and do discount if you use Cliosport. Tim also does the Menzerna in two sizes.
John at C&S also sells the above but only does the Menz in the big sizes http://www.cleanandshiny.co.uk/ not sure who works out cheaper.
Drill spins far to fast IMO - you wont find many people recommending it. I have seen it used to address individual scratches and defects but not a whole car in place of a proper machine polisher.
I have never had to send them proof either, phone up give them the quote they knock around tenner off, I make sure the insurer is not someone like Highway - job done.
The Megs Pads seem better suited to Rotary use.
On my own car mostly DAS pads.
Most other jobs Sonus SFX Cutting, polishing and finishing pads, Menzerna Polishing Pads and Lake Country Glazing Pads.
SRP is very very mild so will do little in the way of defect correction.
Working by hand the best alternative to the T Cut is Meguiars Scratch X or the Carlack 68 Scratch and Swirl Remover Paste.
Machine use any of the Poorboys, Megs Pro Line Polishes or Menzerna range.
It is an old fashioned abrasive product and the game has moved on now.
It cuts the same strength whether just applied or worked for 10 mins, it always has a strong cut meaning it installs very fine swirls taking out bigger defects. New modern day polishes contain diminishing abrasives meaning...
I would try something like Autoglym Super Resin Polish first, chances are it will need something more akin to Meguiars Scratch X if working by hand and some real elbow grease. I hate T Cut so would say no to that.
Depending on the depth of the etching it may need a machine polish to sort it.
As you want Sonus bits I would get them from here - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/
Remember Tim does CS Discount
I would get:
Sonus Wash Mitt
Sonus Green or Grey Clay depending on paint condition
Sonus Towels
Swissvax Onyx Wax
You don't really want to start off the the best cutting compound on a cutting pad.
Start mild and build up to harsh compounds and pads if you need them.
I would look into the Menzerna Final Finish(s) on Polishing pads stepping up to Menzerna Intensive Polish on a cutting pad if needed.
Thats the one - they are meant to be sold in a Pack of two though
