The Duragloss has more cleaning power and better suds (not that it matters) and is a great price.
The Zymol and Swissvax are meant to work with the relevant waxes, so have been using them to hopefully get the maximum durability out what the car is wearing. They both leave a good finish, but...
In Bulk on the daily drive I use Megs Shampoo Plus as it is so cheap compared to the consumer stuff - £15 quid for 3 litres.
The 182 gets Swissvax or Zymol Washes depending on the wax - Duragloss if it gets really mucky.
Yeap it is lazy, aswell as more paintwork safe and friendly due to no drying needed (well not really true - I still dry all the shuts, wheels, engine bay wheel arches and underbody), and means I can wash my black car in the sun without the risk of it streaking before I can even dry it anyway...
I rinse with filtered water which means no need to dry the car as it will not water spot as normal water will - meaning you can just let it dry. Most swirl marks are created during the drying stage. Cutting this out should help not mark the paintwork.
I use the Aquagleam In line water filter
The Gold Class is a more gentle wash, the NXT has more cleaning ability but compromises the wax/sealants durabilty due to it being strong. The Gold Class Leaves a nicer finish and feel to the paint.
To burn paint very hard.
To get a perfect hologram free wax ready finish with one without having to finish up using the PC - that is where the black art is.
I would invest in a decent drying towel to then - Sonus Der Wunder or Micropak Ultra Soft.
Scratch X will be a lot of hard work to sort it, but if your willing to put the hard work in you will make some improvements. I still have marks in my Black Gold that where dealer/factory installed in...
For a mate I would'nt charge them, if it is the case you need to buy things just let him now that.
The main issue for me re the rotary is not the risk of using them as long as your sensible they are fine. You have to try bloody hard to burn through paint. The problem with them is 99% of people...
As above re. the AG Bumper Care it is to condition and dress the trim rather than clean it.
I use Einszett Plastic Cleaner to remove wax residues and deep clean the trim before applying the AG.
The wax goes on after the sealant and whether the QD has been used will make no difference. Only thing to remember is once you have used the wax you can't add additional layers of the M Seal over it.
Scratch X is formulated for hand use. It is hard work and will needed repeated applications in small areas to do it's thing. The rest are fine by hand.
The Scratch and swirl buff should be a once or twice a year step.
I am the wrong person to ask re the m-seal as it lasts no more than a month for me so would be glazing and using that at least once a month. Some people get it to last longer than that.
Weekly wash and wipe down with the Quick...
