ive managed to get the old snapped part out easily enough. Just looking for a replacement bolt

Can anyone tell me the size of the bolts marked with arrows in the pic? I presume its something i should be able to get off the shelf somewhere or do they need to be high temperature?

Looks very good. One thing i will ask though is did you use heat resistant paint? I cant see normal spray paint lasting very long before beginning to flake.
Ive generally found Renault very good, if i want something i phone up for it if they need to order it they take payment and its usually in by dinner time the next day.
Pretty easy mate, i found guide on here somewhere a while ago although cant remember where. its basically 10 bolts and undo all the cables and sensors. takes about 15mins to do.
Spraying is easy just dont spray to close just keep making light passes with the spray can until its all covered also...
I bought them from Impey (a CS member). However you can buy them from Hillpower for around £22 posted.
Well worth it imo, although eventually i would like to get a proper top mount kit.
Engine cover doesn't look bad i must agree ;)
Figured with the spraying...if i didnt like it i could always respray it or then get it polished as i originally planned to.
i woulda bought some large washers normally...but its a sunday afternoon n the shops were shutting shortly and i was repairing the heatshield while the paint dried lol.
Sprayed my engine manifold and fuel rail guard as well as bodge repair my heatshield :D mwahhhhh lol

I love artic, really stands out and hides all manor of sins pretty well :)
I'm currently just waiting for my engine inlet manifold and fuel guard to dry as ive just sprayed them matt black :evil:
insurance for me on a 172 and 182 were identical. TBH i doubt there is much between the 172 and 182 performance wise. 182 is about 0.4 of a second quicker to 60...wow try and count 0.4 of a second :)
182 with cup packs will be slightly more nimble when your having a play however 172 is prob...
tbh i dont mind changing oil myself its just national can do a change for circa £30 and i have a voucher for £5 off so would make for a cheap oil change :)

Looking to get my 6monthly oil change done on my 182. Does anyone know if national stock the correct oil in their cheapy cheap oil changes that they do?
