b&q/wickes any decent diy shops will have them mate.
Theyre normally good for rounded things as with the long handles you can really apply the pressure. id say in your case get the biggest pair of pipe grips they have in b&q, youll struggle more with a small pair.
Ive heard of that with power assisted steering cars as your dad mentioned. Might be worth going to get your tracking checked, its usually free to check and £20 if it needs adjusting.
Middo's been a busy lad these past 2 weeks with pcing CS members cars hasnt he?
Can see a nice shine on the drivers door of the vee which is impressive as its a b*****d to get silver to shine like that normally.
Top job from Middo there.
Norm - You know your side repeaters are orange dont you? ;)
i actually really like that to be fair. I'm not normally into bodykits in the slightest or major interior changes but that looks stunning.
Well done on creating a great looking Clio, not seen one like it before :)

not the post i was looking for, but scroll about halfway down and theres a guide there
The bumper will go back just fine when you refit mate. Don't worry about it.
I'm trying to search for you now how to remove the damn bumper but search is playing up for me.
IIRC its something along the lines of 2 x 10mm nuts underneath the bumper and 1 nuts behind the arch liner on either side...
you need to drop the front bumper off mate. there is a guide somewhere but i cant remember exactly how now.
i removed mine on my old 1.2 clio to replace the headlight and my 182 to fit new washer jets. ill have a search n try find the guide for you now.
The yellow sub was long gone by the time i got round to pictures. He did take me out in the yellow sub and i must say i was gob smacked how smooth the ride is for a car thats dropped as low as it is.
Hi,
Finally got my car PC'd yesterday. Middo was coming round to PC the 182 :D
After 7 long hours of work from Middo this is how the car now looks, car looks really good and cant thank him enough for all his hard work and expertise. You'll have to excuse the photo's. It was too dark to take...
Same happened with me when selling my ST170. Gotta phone call from an irish guy, said him and his bro are coming across to both buy new motors. They would be arriving Thursday would they be ok to view it.
I was also very suspicious...part of me expected they to be pikies. However i was wrong...
I saw that cup spoiler on the bay, i was gonna bid last minute for it but forgot about it and went out. Was well gutted. Was in Artic blue as well lol
Bet the car will look tasty once its all done.
Cars looking really good.
Do the new top mounts stop the bloody squeaking the 182's make at full lock/low speeds? Mine drives me mad with it, also are they compatible with standard suspension?
Really envious of your car and some of the mod's you've done. Cant wait till i have some more free...
i bought mine from CES. iirc its the same mount used throughout the mk2 range so try again asking if they have mounts for a 1.2 :)
edit - just dug out my invoice the part number listed is 420394 2/dw59
hope thats of some help
my journey to work consists of driving up the a34 in staffordshire for anyone local which has far too many roundabouts and speed limit changes, goes something like 60, 40, 50, 60, 40, 60, 40. Also its often slow moving traffic. So thats the reason for the fuel consumption. Put the car on a good...
Wow...
Never seen that before, reset the trip computer just before pulling out onto a national speed limit road...hammering it through 1st, 2nd and 3rd....at one point i saw a figure as low as 8.2mpg although i must stress it was hard to keep it that low i didn't imagine the 182 using anywhere...
