Swindon - Not sure what he quotes time wise for a Clio, will be very akin to what I would charge, like everything in life you get what you pay for.
You could always try a wanted post on here for someone with a PC or pop a post on detailing world. I used to charge less than I do when I first...
I use the 4 inch pads for the lower doors/quarters, side skirts, front and rear valences, spolier and tailgate. Of late I have also started to use them on the front wings of 172/182's.
Have all the above to do on mine (minus the wings) when I have chance to finish it.
Zymol Destiny is even more expensive than the Mystery and is meant to look better still so need to use that first. It is all in the prep to be honest, polishing creates 90% of the look. Off late waxes have added very little if anything over the look achieved by a proper polish.
I would have thought the above a while ago - One guy over on the PSOOC forums who is a Police officer recently posted that they are having a big crack down on number plates, even on the spacing thing, think it impares how the cash machines work ....
Yeah you will get nowhere by hand with the defects on Black.
If you have used a nice finishing polish already use the SRP on a finishing pad.

Yeah Black and PC is a must, ordered mine after a few months of ownership!
SRP by machine is a worthwhile step as it makes the SRP much more effective and easy to use.
Claying depends on how the car is used and where it gets parked. Once a year maybe fine for example.
Get a few layers of EGP on and you should get 3 odd months protection. Then you have the choice to reapply some more straight ontop if you have not used wax, or reapply the Super Resin to...
Swirled all over of just in isolated areas ? If the weather is good on Sat I will be trying to finish of the 182, you welcome to pop over and I will try a test panel.
Try the CG Swirl Remover mate, chances are it will need some elbow grease, use a folded terry towel to give it more bite and even pressure - not a product I use. EGP needs to go after the SRP and before the wax.
When the grass stops growing lay a patio, not got time to dye and GHD straighten...
I would not use the tripod for F1 will make panning a pain. Camera needs to be in the Autofocus mode that allows it to track the car, not sure what it is on A Nikon is Ai-Servo on Canon.
Choose shutter priority mode and choose 1/320 or less and change the ISO to get around F8 at whatever...
