The water magnet is not liked on Deatailing World as people have found it a cause of swirls.
NXT Shampoo always seems fairly harsh on sealants and waxes, stopped using it here after noticing the paint dulling effects
A machine polish will always achieve things you wont be hand. A good polish by hand will show you the areas that will need the attention by machine though.
Any colour will benifit from a machine polish to get the paint defects. As you have seen darker colours do show more dramatic results where as on silver you will really struggle to see the improvements in pictures. Yellow will sit in the middle ground, but in the flesh to your own eyes the...
They changed them to red a while ago
Thats is just a fraction of my stuff tbh - in those bags is my Autoglym Products and Meguiars Bodyshop stuff.
I pack the boot accorsing to what I think I will need a show, normally take to much. Will be taking water aswell to certain shows as it was a mare...
Would not use EGP on a sunny day full stop to be honest unless there was suitable shade to allow the car to be done in parts. Onto a loser straight away doing anything with it in the sun. Wait till the evenings or get up early!
Get it on as thin as you can, then it is too thick still I bet so...

AIO needs to be placed before Jeffs after a polishing if that is required to ensure the Jeffs bonds properly.
I do the above only before winter. If mine lived outside I would do the Jeffs 2-4 times a years.
Will reply to your PM from the other day as I am on a day off today.
Working by hand Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss both work well on Black Gold when used and worked correctly, most people use to much and dont get succesful results.
In most cases though the paint tends to need something more abbrasive than the Super Resin to clean it up. Working by hand...
SFX is a finsishing polish and you could argue the same for SRP.
That said SRP has very little actual abbrassive cut, it cleans chemically and leaves a perfect base for the EGP to bond too. If you want to use the EGP it needs to go over the SRP for best results.
If your going straight to wax...
Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final Finish lol!
I got on better with the SSR 2.5 better than the 83 ( SSR 2 does not have as much cut as the 83) but am not a big fan of the SSR 1.
For me mix and match and use SSR 2.5 and Megs 80 if the Menz is not an option.
Will do if it is stuck on and gone hard yes, though I would prefer and advise to dissovle it off using AG Tar and Adhesive rather than shear it off using clay.
Yeap - Not a fan of the UDS as it won't let the EGP bond to it.
After you polishing with the SFX's follow that up with the SRP and EGP and it will look good.
Normal masking tape works fine, blue painters tape can be purchased from B&Q, the genuine 3M 3434 Tape can be purchased from most of the online traders or any local good bodyshop supplier.
I tape up all rubbers and unpainted trim when compouding or heavy polishing or doing work on a whole car...
