Ive got a spare CUP bit, i took the 172 and chucked on my car. Looks swish just sitting below right of the clio badge! They sell them on ebay for about £3.50 if you do a search! But you can have the cup bit if needed

Im sure that the current Clio could handle 18bhp more, so the next gen Clio definately could. Thats a tall car! Maybe its the styling, it just looks a smaller car. And i never said the current clio couldnt handle 18bhp extra. As far as i am aware there are some on here with nearly 40 bhp...

the 200 bhp clio is going to be on the new micra floorpan, meaning its going to be tiny. If thats the case, 200bhp is a little bit too much in a car that small. Probably wrong though....

As the reno blurb says the 182 tyres have a stiffer side wall, are they limited to Contis as replacements when they are worn out, or will other manufacturers be bringing out copies and will they fit a 172 as they are a little wider?

Slam some of that aluminium checker plate in instead of a dash and get rid of all the un needed stuff. Go for a proper race car feel with about 6 switches and a cut off and a few gaugues and nothing else.

Saw a yellow one this morning, must be an import though as i didnt think it was out in the uk. Otherwise it was doing a damn good impression of a 182. Great colour and really makes you look at the car and think "wow thats bright"

With the next version of the clio just round the corner, my dealer pointed out something that made me think. The new car will be built on the micra platform which is a lot smaller than the current clios, meaning the new one is going to be quite a small car. Are reno planning a mid range car...

Was it a main dealer or a "bobs car lot"? If main dealer, go back to them and demand they be fitted, as this could be classed as theft a they are part of main spec. If they were delivered like that, it might be a friday afternoon car from the factory, where the bloke just stuck the wrong lights in.

Popped into the local dealers to chat about the passenger side rubbing sound on my car, got speaking and he tells me that he just bought his boy a 182. He mentioned that a difference between the two was that the 182 had VVT and the 172 didnt, is this right? I thought we poor cousins in the 172s...

Is it a full system or a back box? Ive been toying with the idea of one, but dont have the £600 for a full system at the moment. Wackojackos full supersprint is quality, but thats a lot of cash.....
