Dude, since i joined in August ive seen one Cup in a carpark and none on the road. I know dust has one but i havent seen it. 172s arent that common but you do see a few about on the road.

Whats the score with swapping the pads for decent ones, but not the discs on mine and any other car? Will the better pads wear the discs a lot quicker and is it worth doing???

At least your alloys look unmarked. Did your insurance know about them, if not get um off before the inspection......

No one said it was a heap, we were saying if you owned a heap then trade it in. But if its decent (As your is) then sell it privately as you will get loads more money

When i bought my 172, the Ren dealer offered me book so i chucked it in the autotrader and sold it for £800 more. Never trade in, unless its a heap (Which it doesnt look like mate). Trade ins are a last resort imo!

What is your idea of warmed up though, is the guage being upto normal regarded as enough?

How long do you allow your engine to warm up before you start giving it some? Do you go for it straight away, or do you give it 10 minutes? Just though id ask and see if it makes any difference.....

Hes done it by adding on 14 cliosport stickers to his car (16bhp gain) and painted it 172 blue (12bhp)

There has been 1 cup model, no it depends on how much warranty the country its imported from provides, no difference, brand new for less than 11k is that from trade sales (Probably an import)? Maybe in your mind, but what are they book, check parkers or glasss guide for price, if they are...

I know that the figures put out by companys are approx, but are they posted from a brand new engine before being run in? If so does that mean a car would achieve quicker speeds in the real world in perfect conditions? If they are set on brand new engines, can you remove a few tenths from each...
