easy son, you never mentioned a word to me (if you had, it would've been replaced instantly, not that i'm saying it left us in that condition!), AND the people you had fit it decided it needed cutting to bits to make it fit correctly which simply isn't the case if they'd used even the smallest...

If i said the major aftermarket manufactures such as
ITG
K&N
BMC
Piper X
Green
etc etc
are all used by F1, WRC, BTCC etc
they'll be 100% fine on a road car
I now favour ITG, after running one of their cone filters on my car and doing a wee bit of testing with *****tastic results
what mark charges is upto him, but fair play to him he's a chamipionship winner!
I would be around 2 hours labour (£80) plus around £20-£30 in bits (would use flanges so you could unbolt the cat still) plus the vat
no offense taken at all, but welding/fabrication isn't as simple as people...
