rubber does have a life span (old crusty rubber band for example)
tyres have a "sell by date" 5years from manfacture
easy peasy, driveshaft has to come out, but that's not that hard, new one just slips over the bearing and you can use a jubilee clip to secure it to the bearing (the clip that comes with it is s**t)
any 5W40 fully syn around the £35-£45 mark,
ie
Shell Helix (what we run on all the ferraris/lambos etc)
Fuchs - anything they sell is decent
Millers - sound
etc etc
£80 for oil is bonkers!
well it could've been caused by a sticky caliper (fairly common on clios) but in this instance its fairly obvious either they've been fitted wrong (impossible! LOL) or seriously cooked (unlikely as warren ain't a heavy braker, his cousin however could be an issue! LOL)
