Good product but wont fit in anywhere with Rich's AG SRP, EGP and then Wax routine unfortunatley.
A good product to have in summer if you just want to glaze and wax.
PC stands for Porter Cable, they are the only true PC. (Megiuars sell a rebranded one in the states though)
There are other random orbital polishers out there though. The Porter Cable is the most versatile and well catered for one. A array of polishes, grades of pads and sizes of pads...
If I have time I hand wash the towels in woolite and the applicators with fairy liquid.
Machine washing is fine for both towels and foam applicators though - but make sure you don't use fabric softener a Dave says as it ruins microfibers.
XXX lasted no longer than Nattys or P21s for me (it is the same product IMO as Poorboys Nattys anyway) neither are any more Durable than P21s here for me, never got more than a month or so out of any of them.
P21s on Blue is hard to beat. I waxed a Monaco Blue 172 the other day with Zymol...
Your tesat drive views on the test drive seem to mirror alot of people reviews on here.
The 197 feels so composed and had loads of grip, held the road well, but like you said it was hard to tell what the wheels where doing and the steering had the same vague nature as the outgoing/gone Civic...
The carwashnwax ones seem/are identical to the Eurow ones. I ordered 4 from David a few months ago. The quality between them does seem to vary a fair bit though. Out of the 4, I was only really happy with 1.
I am currently using either Swissvax Shampoo on my own 182 as it is currently wearing there best of Show Wax, before that was applied I was using:
Duragloss Shampoo
Sonax Gloss Shampoo
Chemical Guys Wash'n'wax
All of which are very good.
On my daily drive I use Meguiars Hyper Wash or Shampoo...
Welcome to CS - No a fan of the NXT wash here for normal maintance washes as it is hard on sealants and waxes, will be fine to use if you plan to seal after using it. The Megs Clay is fine to use.
You ideally needs polishing stage in your process, especially if claying you may causes so minor...
No it doesnt.
Though I am the opposite, I would not even think about using the bug side on my paint though, so find having two normal sides to the mitt, means I can use both sides of the mitt getting two passes rather than one before going back to the bucket(s).
They are a lot softer and pusher than the Meguiars ones.
That said most are!
You wont go wrong with the Serious Performance "Carlsberg" ones Alex sells, I either use them or the Eurow ones, both are better than the Meguiars offerings.
Looks a good set.
Ditch the Hot Rims, you can use the AG Engine and Machine Cleaner for that too and not worry about using an acid cleaner. Polish them with SRP and then use the Poorboys Wheel Seal.
I don't think much to Nattys Blue as it is not as easy on or off than some waxes. My preference...
If your using it over AG EGP you have up to 3 months protection from that so I would use it for looks only and not worry about the durability.
Cliochris1 on Silver most products will look very alike so if you cant get P21s other waxes will look as good.
You will need to wipe the area to clean off any wax or polishing oils in the area you want to put the sticker or it wont take properly.
I would wash, polish, wipe the area the stickers will go with AG Tar Remover and apply them. Wax around them until they have taken properly and then wax over...
When is running! never seems that reliable.
Cracking shots, wish I had dragged my lazy arse out of bed to go along now.
Heard someone died on Stage 3 though :(
Just looks oxidised. No need to hit it with anything as serious as Diamond Cut, Autoglym Super Resin or Klasse AIO by hand will do a good job a cleaning it up by hand.
As said there are plenty of products that include it though if it works or not it works or is a gimic is another matter.
