Thats Pauls, then Phils old car. Phil beat me to it by hours 2 1/2 yrs ago. I heard the car spent 3 days on the rollers & live mapping to perfect it. Your right what you paid would not pay the bill for the engine. Phils joining me in the mk3 revolution ;)

Parallel was what I used for 3 yrs on track, tried others but always went back as Prefered the feel of the car.

If serviced well they are bulletproof. I used to give my 172, 182trophy & 197 death on track & they loved it. The 197 was happiest being thrashed ;)

I have RSRs on my mx5, just put them on this week. Got Donington this Friday so really looking forward to see what difference they will give over the Michelin PE2s. So far on road they are getting better & better as the bobbles wear off, really notice in the bends where it don't move off line at...

Do not skimp on tyres he only things touching the road. Conti 3's are good, don't know about the 5's. Mich exaltos pe2's are still a favourite as so good in the wet & dry.

Been recommending these for nearly 3yrs now. Takes a while for the sheep to listen, but thats their loss ;) Work from cold, no noise/squeals, never give up on track, bit dusty.

Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news Cannot see the flappy paddle gearbox working on track in such a cheap car. Holding at high rpm's it will want to shift up just as you let off the gas. Will wait & see, at least it will have 4 yr warranty & going by the last models thank god!

Prices have gone up since Feb, £68, was the old price for 17's. Also they usually have stock where as other places don't.

The cracks across the tyres do not seem to effect them. They are used as the control tyre in the Mazda race series & these guys give them death. At RTOC my mates 5 did not get overtaken all day & in the wet I was astounded at the speeds through Gerard's. They are awesome as in you can come...
