testing is still on going, its not a case of whack it on, rolling road it, put it on sale, that's a bad idea!
matt (aka icarus) is mr anal when it comes to development work, i've seen the prototype/s in testing and some revisions have been made, mainly due to manufacture/turn around...

yes, it involves basically re inserting the renault timing tools into the engine and seeing if they line up correctly, no biggy, probably about 1 to 2 hours of *****ing about
wouldn't bother wrapping it, will take hours upon hours upon hours, if you can afford it, get it coated, if not just whack it in as is
pipes are stainless, flanges are mild
^fitted in the wrong place to be flush, see my picture above, they're 100% flat to the bonnet (mount front the underside) we finished them off with a carbon trim (not a sticker!)
ours were the flush ones + a custom carbon trim (they go in from underneath) Dan's in the pic above are the plus...

the wheels needs to be acid stripped then blasted and be 100% clean before powdercoating (ie no grease, dirt chemicals etc) should all be done on the same site really
the surface will feel like rough sand paper prior to coating, the powdercoat levels that off no bother
the 565H are the correct ones, no one i know bothers with the 406H because the price difference is minimal (about £1.50) they're skinnier to start with, and they don't fit aswell
the DS2500 was never spec'd for the cup racers, the used the PF97 pad
the reason you have to grind them down...
